Students from the elementary schools “Kuzman Josifovski Pitu” from the municipality of Kisela Voda, “Koco Racin” from the municipality of Petrovec, “Koco Racin” from the municipality of Centar, “Lazo Trpovski” and “Jan Amos Komenski” from the municipality of Karpos, visited the Cabinet of the President today and attended the ceremony of changing the national flag.
This ceremony, performed by the members of the Honor Battalion, with the aim of paying tribute to the Macedonian flag as a symbol of the state, was a unique opportunity for the students, in the presence of President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, to feel the values and importance of the national symbols.
At the meeting with President Siljanovska Davkova, the elementary school students shared their impressions of the ceremony, as well as their interests in the overall functioning of the institution.
The President expressed her satisfaction with today’s visit of the students, emphasizing the importance of today’s ceremony of paying tribute to the Macedonian flag and to state symbols in general.
“I faced countless unexpected questions, including how difficult is it to be a president, what ca one expect in just one presidential day, as well as the question of whether I would pay them a visit to their schools,” the President said.
During their stay in the Cabinet, the guests also visited the premises in which meetings, ceremonies, official and working meetings are held.
