President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, on the sidelines of the “Aqaba Process Balkans III”, met today with the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev.
She once again expressed her deep gratitude to him and the Bulgarian citizens for the solidarity expressed through the selfless hospital care provided to the injured in the tragic fire in Kocani, manifesting sincere friendship, neighborly care and humanity in one of the most tragic contemporary Macedonian events.
Both agreed that more frequent communication between Bulgarian and Macedonian politicians, as well as scientists, pupils, students, professors, cultural figures, journalists and other categories of subjects will deepen and strengthen mutual trust, break down prejudices and have multiple benefits for citizens.
Despite differences in identifying possible solutions to our European integration blockade, they concluded that they would continue to discuss in good faith, determined to overcome the issue.
