The Cabinet of President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova categorically denies the allegations in the press release of the political party Democratic Union for Integration, published on 18 February 2025, according to which the Head of the state did not send a congratulation message on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo.
In accordance with the diplomatic practice, on 17 February 2025, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, President Siljanovska-Davkova sent a congratulation message to her counterpart, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu.
It is unacceptable for the Cabinet that DUI, by spreading fake and unverified information and making unfounded conclusions, is trying to damage the reputation and credibility of President Siljanovska-Davkova.
Confirmation that it is not a diplomatic oversight or undermining good neighborliness, is the acceptance of the invitation by President Siljanovska-Davkova to attend the ceremonial reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo, which is being organized this evening by the Embassy of Kosovo.
