The Governor, at the onset, presented the basic macroeconomic indicators, and then introduced her to the macroeconomic policy.
He explained the impact of global geostrategic trends on the Macedonian economy, clarifying the main processes in industry, trade and construction.
The President was interested in the positive aspects of the current economic situation, as well as the shortcomings and risks.
The Governor’s final assessment was that the economy is stable, with solid growth, but attention must be paid to import dependence and the price of food and energy.
Both believe that professional and competent human resources are particularly important for the smooth functioning of the National Bank.
