President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova received today the Deputy President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Mahmut Cevik.
The meeting discussed the work of the agency in our country, with President Siljanovska-Davkova expressing gratitude for the long-standing support and the projects implemented, as well as for the personal contribution of Deputy President Cevik in that direction.
President Siljanovska-Davkova assessed that the Republic of Turkiye has been our faithful friend and ally since the first days of our independence, which provides us with support in all areas, pointing out that there are excellent bilateral relations between our two countries that extend to all fields.
Among the significant projects implemented by TIKA, President Siljanovska-Davkova pointed out the renovation of several schools in the country, the implementation of training programs for medical personnel, the equipping of several clinics and hospitals with modern medical equipment, as well as the implementation of projects aimed at increasing the participation of women and children in social life.
President Siljanovska-Davkova pointed out the importance of projects for application of modern agricultural techniques and undertaking economic activities in rural areas, as well as the Agency’s activities in the field of social dialogue and cooperation, the organization of cultural events to encourage dialogue between different ethnic groups, etc.
These activities, according to President Siljanovska-Davkova, are real evidence of the friendly relations between our two countries.
The meeting also discussed the Agency’s future plans for implementation of several projects in the country.
In that context, President Siljanovska-Davkova emphasized her commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
