At her request, President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova held a telephone conversation this morning with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
The interlocutors reaffirmed the friendly Macedonian-Azerbaijani relations, as well as their readiness to further advance these ties by deepening political dialogue and developing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Against the backdrop of a global energy crisis, the two presidents exchanged views on emerging challenges and potential solutions.
In a spirit of friendship and mutual understanding – a bond confirmed and strengthened during the President’s official visit to Baku, Siljanovska-Davkova and Aliyev agreed to continue and expand cooperation in the energy sector.
