President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova met today with Zeljka Cvijanovic, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Tivat, Montenegro, at the sidelines of the summit of the leaders of the countries participating in the Brdo-Brijuni Process.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the excellent friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, characterized by mutual support and respect, while interest was expressed in further advancement of political dialogue and deepening of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, primarily in the economy.
President Siljanovska Davkova expressed Macedonian support for the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as our willingness to exchange experiences with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The interlocutors concluded that the promotion of regional cooperation in order to deal with the challenges, as well as the progress of the European integration of the countries of the Western Balkans, are of crucial importance for the stability and prosperity of the region.
The meeting also discussed last week’s floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with President Siljanovska Davkova expressing her deep condolences to the families of the victims and speedy recovery to the injured.
