President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, Jose Luis Lozano Garcia.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the overall bilateral relations between the countries which this year mark 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, and the commitment was highlighted to further strengthening the friendly and partnership relations between the two countries.
President Siljanovska Davkova emphasized that Spain is our important partner within NATO, UN and OSCE and a supporter of our aspirations for membership in the European Union, which was clearly demonstrated during the presidency of the EU Council in the second half of last year. In that context, the further course of the reform agenda after the formation of the new government was discussed.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the current situation in the wider region.
President Siljanovska Davkova stressed the interest of the Macedonian side in further intensification of economic cooperation and trade between the two countries.
