President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic, Sophia Philippidou.
At the meeting, they discussed the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, the potentials and opportunities for advancement of cooperation in view of building a good neighborly relations based on mutual trust and understanding. In that direction, the President expressed her expectation for support of Greece for the enlargement policy and our European aspirations.
At the meeting with the Greek Ambassador, opinions were also exchanged about the Prespa Agreement and its implementation, with the President noting the importance of its consistent application by all parties committed thereto.
At the meeting, President Siljanovska Davkova reaffirmed her commitment to the further development of partnership and sincere friendship with Greece. She stressed the good cooperation in the field of defense, emphasizing the importance of strengthening economic cooperation, trade, infrastructural connection, as well as cooperation in the field of education, culture and tourism, as challenges that we should focus on jointly in the interest of the well-being and rapprochement of the peoples of the two countries.
