President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova received in a farewell meeting today the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Satybaldy Burshakov.
During the talks, it was noted that relations between the two countries have gained new momentum in the recent period, characterized by active political dialogue and exchange of high-level visits. The President reflected on her working visit to Astana in May 2025, her participation in the Astana International Forum, and her meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Siljanovska-Davkova thanked the Ambassador for his efforts and contribution to advancing the Macedonian-Kazakhstani relations, emphasizing that his tenure would be remembered for his exceptional dedication to his diplomatic mission and work.
The President expressed interest in attracting new Kazakh investments to the country and in pursuing joint projects.
Ambassador Burshakov provided a detailed briefing on the political changes in Kazakhstan following the entry into force of the new Constitution, which replaced the bicameral legislature with a unicameral parliament; Ambassador Burshakov was elected as one of its 145 members.
Siljanovska-Davkova wished him a successful parliamentary term and fruitful inter-parliamentary activity.
