On the occasion of September 8, Independence Day and the celebration of the 35th anniversary of independence, President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova laid fresh flowers today at the eternal resting place of the first President of the Republic of Macedonia, Kiro Gligorov, at the eternal resting place of President Boris Trajkovski and at the eternal resting place of the first Prime Minister, Nikola Kljusev, at the City Cemetery in Butel – Skopje.
As part of the event, organized by the President’s Cabinet, fresh flowers were laid by a parliamentary delegation, led by the President of the Assembly, Afrim Gasi, a government delegation led by the Minister of Education and Science, Vesna Janevska, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sasko Lafciski, the Governor of the National Bank, Trajko Slaveski, representatives of the Union of Fighters, the judiciary, the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Orce Gjorgjievski, mayors of Skopje municipalities, the Director of the Intelligence Agency, Gabriela Jakovleva, the Director of the Commission for relations with religious communities, Olivera Trajkovska, representatives of political parties, the diplomatic corps and the Kljusev family.
