President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova received the Letters of Credence of the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic, based in Ankara, Ruslan Kazakbaev.
At the ceremony of presenting the Letters of Credence, Ambassador Kazakbaev expressed his condolences on the Kocani tragedy. He stressed that he would make every effort to strengthen and develop friendly relations between the two countries.
President Siljanovska-Davkova thanked for the letter of condolences sent by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov.
She said that there is untapped potential for further deepening cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic and cultural fields, as well as within international organizations. In this regard, she expressed her confidence that the appointment of Ambassador Kazakbaev will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the development of bilateral relations and cooperation.
The interlocutors emphasized the need to intensify political dialogue and sign agreements that define the legal framework of economic and trade cooperation. In order to establish specific cooperation in areas of mutual interest, the President encouraged the adoption of the already launched initiatives.
She wished the newly appointed Ambassador a successful term and expressed full support in the performance of his diplomatic duties. He extended to the President an invitation from President Sadyr Japarov to visit the Kyrgyz Republic.
