President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today Radmila Shekerinska to congratulate her on her election to the position of NATO Deputy Secretary General.
For both, the important position is not only a personal, but also a state recognition, proof that unity and consensus among the holders of the highest positions are the key to the success and affirmation of the state.
The President expressed confidence that Ms. Shekerinska will make a significant contribution to the achievement of the Alliance’s key goals: promoting collective security, strengthening solidarity among allies and dealing with modern threats.
With the election of Radmila Shekerinska to the high position in NATO, the Alliance clearly and openly demonstrates its awareness of the importance of the region, as well as its commitment thereto.
