Question: Are you planning a meeting with the Bulgarian Prime Minister in The Hague?
President Siljanovska-Davkova: I cannot answer you whether I am planning to, because I spoke with Mr. Antonio Costa about a possible meeting. It was his suggestion. In the meantime, I do not know. I will be there, if it is my turn. Otherwise, everyone knows, I need to talk to my counterparts. There is no problem for me. However, it does not depend on me. So, it depends on, I do not want to use the expression, I am reluctant to use the other side – our neighbors. Of course, we are so close that we could talk somewhere nearby, but the suggestion came from Mr. Antonio Costa. He informed me, when I was in Nice, that Mr. Radev will not attend the NATO Summit, but the Prime Minister will.
Question: Regarding a possible meeting with Zheljazkov, has it been confirmed?
President Siljanovska-Davkova: No, no, no, no. We have not proposed a meeting to Mr. Zheljazkov, we are not waiting for any confirmation. But, if it is proposed by the European side, meaning by the President of the European Council, then it should come from there. Otherwise, I am ready to talk. I have met with Mr. Radev several times, he knows my views, our views, excuse me, national views. Mr. Antonio Costa knows them, too; the others know them, too. So, I always say that the time may come, for European creativity to come to the fore, which we have seen many times, or have seen on occasions, including in this case. For the sake of the region and for the sake of, perhaps, the most important process in Europe at the moment – the enlargement.
