The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria, Angel Angelov.
The interlocutors concluded that the relations between North Macedonia and Bulgaria mark a continuous positive trend, both in the political, as well as in the economic relations between the two countries.
President Pendarovski stressed that the Republic of North Macedonia highly appreciates the strong and unequivocal support from the Republic of Bulgaria for obtaining a date for the start of accession negotiations with the European Union and welcomed the ratification of the Protocol for Membership of the Republic of North Macedonia in NATO.
The two interlocutors emphasized the importance of peace, security and stability in the region, aimed at its full integration into the European Union.
