President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova welcomed the Croatian President Zoran Milanovic, who is visiting the country, with the highest state and military honors.
The presidents held a tete-a-tete meeting, followed by a plenary meeting of the Macedonian and Croatian delegations.
The focus of the talks was on the bilateral relations, the process of our European integration, through the prism of the international order, the EU environment, as well as regional challenges.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the constructive cooperation in several areas and confirmed the many times proven strong friendship, based on mutual understanding, respect and support.
Guided by the current situation on the European continent, but also beyond, the interlocutors pointed to the importance of a coordinated regional approach to addressing security challenges.
The Macedonian President expressed deep gratitude for Croatia’s strong and continuous support for the Macedonian EU membership and its willingness to expand and deepen cooperation in various areas of interest to both countries.
