President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova will attend today the opening ceremony of the 20th Mediterranean Games, held in Taranto, Italian Republic.
Today, she will visit the Mediterranean (Olympic) Village where she will meet the Macedonian athletes, and this afternoon she will attend the reception organized by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, in honor of the heads of delegations.
Since independence, this is the fourth participation of Macedonian athletes in this prestigious competition. The Macedonian delegation this year counts 90 athletes. They will compete in several disciplines, in individual and group sports.
