President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova met today with Achim Steiner, Administrator of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in New York, as part of her visit to the United States, on the occasion of her participation in the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations.
The meeting discussed the previous cooperation and activities of the UNDP, which are implemented in our country through partnerships with the Macedonian institutions, municipalities and civil society.
President Siljanovska Davkova thanked UNDP for its continuous support, emphasizing that the support is significant for the Macedonian European integration path, as well as for creating an inclusive society in various areas.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the current course of mutual activities, which are in accordance with Macedonian national priorities, based on the principles of sustainable development and in line with the process of accession to the European Union.
