President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today the Director of the National Institution “Ohrid Summer Festival”, Natasa Popovic, the selectors Bisera Cadlovska and Sanja Arsovska, on the eve of the 64th edition of the renowned Macedonian international music and stage event “Ohrid Summer Festival”.
At the meeting, the representatives of the National Institution informed President Siljanovska Davkova of the current preparations and the annual program of the Festival, which, after its establishment in 1961, is held in the period from July 12 to August 20 in Ohrid.
Referring to the decade-long contribution to nurturing art as a universal value, President Siljanovska Davkova expressed satisfaction that, in the spirit of the established tradition, she will be the patron of the “Ohrid Summer Festival”. In that direction, she wished for a successful implementation of this year’s edition and expressed her support in promoting the festival and the Macedonian culture in the world.
