President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria, Martin Pammer.
At the meeting, the overall bilateral relations were discussed and it was assessed that the two countries nurture friendly and partnership relations, through their development in several spheres of mutual interest, and in that direction, President Siljanovska Davkova emphasized her readiness during her mandate to contribute to their further advancement, both politically and economically.
President Siljanovska Davkova emphasized the importance of Austrian support for Macedonian aspirations for membership in the European Union. She indicated the expectation for a smooth continuation of the European integration path, through a fair evaluation of the accession, based on the Copenhagen criteria.
President Siljanovska Davkova emphasized her readiness to contribute to ensuring a national consensus for accelerating the reform agenda in all critical areas indicated in the European Commission reports.
Ambassador Pammer sent congratulations to President Siljanovska Davkova on the occasion of assuming office.
