President Stevo Pendarovski received today Ambassador Elchin Amirbayov, special envoy of the President of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as on the possibility of promoting cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
President Pendarovski expressed our country’s interest in intensifying economic cooperation with Azerbaijan, especially in the field of energy.
President Pendarovski, in the context of the Macedonian presidency of the OSCE, emphasized our country’s commitment to the peaceful resolution of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the Nagorno-Karabakh region and expressed support for all efforts leading to peace and initiatives that facilitate dialogue.
