President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova received today representatives of the Macedonian diaspora in Canada, including Canadian entrepreneurs John Bitove Jr. and Jordan Bitove, participants in the “Macedonia 2025” Summit.
She thanked them for the long-standing contribution of the Macedonian diaspora in Canada to strengthening economic, educational, scientific and cultural ties with the home country, as well as in promoting the Macedonian interests and potential internationally.
The importance of initiatives such as “Macedonia 2025” was emphasized, which contribute to connecting the domestic business community with successful professionals and investors from the diaspora, encouraging entrepreneurship, innovation and economic development.
The President introduced them in detail to the country’s internal and external political priorities, with a special focus on the European integration processes. They, in turn, highlighted the possibility of intensifying Canadian-Macedonian relations at the highest level.
The interlocutors expressed readiness to deepen overall cooperation and work on further international affirmation of the country.
