President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, on the occasion of the great Christian holiday Christmas, sent a congratulation message to all citizens who celebrate the day of the Nativity of Christ, to the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia and of Iustiniana Prima, His Holiness Stefan, and to the President of the Church Representation of the Evangelical Methodist Church, Emil Zaev.
Respected citizens,
I have a special pleasure and honor, to all citizens who celebrate the day of the Nativity of Christ, to congratulate on the great Christian holiday – Christmas and to wish you to spend it in good health, filled with joy and happiness.
Christmas was, is and will forever remain a sublime and bright Christian holiday, a symbol of life, love, respect and solidarity.
The birth of Christ teaches and inspires us how to love, to spread peace and harmony, to help the helpless, to give unconditional support and offer comfort.
Christmas symbolizes the life-giving power of faith and hope, as essential to human nature.
Let us open our hearts to all people on this Christmas day, let us try to understand everyone’s need for happiness, let us contribute to social well-being. Let us heed the pastoral call of the Macedonian Orthodox Church and enter the temples of God to strengthen personal and national spirituality.
Christ is born!
Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova
