Regarding the allegations made by the VMRO-DPMNE political party about the joint sale of the building of the Mission of the former SFRY to the UN in New York, we inform you that President Pendarovski is regularly informed by the competent ministry about the current course of the process. From the total amount of funds, 4 million US dollars, part of which belonged to the Republic of North Macedonia, 3.4 million have been transferred, and the remaining part of 0.6 million is expected to be transferred soon.
According to the agreement, when the entire purchase and sale transaction is completed, all funds will be transferred to our state budget. President Pendarovski expects that the funds from the joint sale of the property that belonged to North Macedonia will be used in accordance with the Government’s conclusions for the purchase of premises for the Permanent Mission to the UN in New York and for an embassy facility in Sofia.
