President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova participated in the discussion titled “Inspiring Talks about Volunteering”, which was held in the City Library “Borka Taleski” in Prilep.
In the discussion, young volunteers Aleksandra Josifoska and Angela Stojceska, journalist Elizabeta Filiposka and actor Igor Trpceski shared their personal success stories, emphasizing the importance of kindness, solidarity and voluntary help.
President Siljanovska Davkova, in her talks with the youth, said that volunteering should not be an epiphany, but an everyday routine, and that young people should be given the opportunity to grow and learn through volunteering, bringing them not only educational scores, but also personal growth and development of true values.
Emphasizing that humanity, as our highest ideal, should be a guiding principle, she pointed out that in each of us lies the primordial need to help others, and it is precisely at that moment, when we extend a hand, that we become human. “When we do good, harmony is created – within us and around us. It is a synergy that transcends the boundaries of the personal and overflows into the collective”, President Siljanovska Davkova said.
The event, organized by the Coalition of Youth Organizations SEGA, was also attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Prilep, Borche Jovcheski.
