President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamil Khasiyev.
The meeting discussed the deepening and improvement of bilateral relations in various areas of mutual interest to both countries. In that context, President Siljanovska Davkova indicated that, in addition to other forms of cooperation, the exchange of high-level visits between the two countries can contribute to the intensification of bilateral relations and political dialogue.
President Siljanovska Davkova said that both countries have a rich cultural heritage and a long history with which solid results can be achieved in the field of tourism. She added that by strengthening cooperation in this area and by showing our tourism potential, а path can be opened for increased tourism exchange and mutual understanding.
The President also expressed our interest in intensifying the economic cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of energy, bearing in mind our interest in diversifying sources of energy supply.
