President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova received today Rabih Torbay, CEO of Project HOPE, and Sien Avalos, President of the BD Foundation (Becton, Dickinson and Company Foundation).
According to Siljanovska-Davkova, for over three decades, Project HOPE has made a significant contribution to strengthening the Macedonian healthcare capacities, enhancing the professional knowledge of healthcare workers and introducing new technologies into the healthcare sector.
The President welcomed the donations of modern medical equipment, the implementation of innovative methods and the investments in human resources through clinical training involving international expertise.
In her view, international partnerships are essential for creating sustainable systemic solutions that will, in the long run, improve the quality of healthcare services.
Describing the work of Project HOPE as exceptionally successful and inspiring, Siljanovska-Davkova expressed her gratitude for their dedication and presence in the country.
The interlocutors provided information regarding their past and ongoing healthcare and humanitarian programs and activities.
They expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with the Macedonian institutions, primarily with healthcare professionals, and emphasized their readiness to provide further assistance and support.
