President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Letters of Credence of Sergei Malinovsky, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of North Macedonia, resident in Belgrade.
President Pendarovski, in his address at the ceremony of handing over the Letters of Credence, expressed his belief that, based on the principles of democratic governance, rule of law and respect for fundamental rights and freedoms, in the future, opportunities will be created for development of relations and cooperation between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Belarus where possible.
In his address, Ambassador Sergei Malinovsky said that Belarus expects trade cooperation with North Macedonia, as well as cooperation on other bilateral and multilateral issues.
President Pendarovski wished Ambassador Malinovsky good health, as well as much success in the performance of his responsible mission.
