President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Matthew Lawson.
The meeting discussed the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as the current developments and challenges in the region, with the interlocutors expressing satisfaction with the development of overall relations, which are characterized by friendship, mutual trust and strong partnership.
President Pendarovski and Ambassador Lawson exchanged opinions and information on topical issues related to the integration of our country in the European Union, on the cooperation and action of the two countries within the framework of the NATO Alliance, as well as on bilateral issues of mutual interest.
President Pendarovski expressed confidence that the United Kingdom will continue with concrete support and assistance in the attainment of the Macedonian strategic priorities and thanked for the constant UK support for key issues from our independence until today.
