The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, on the occasion of the great Christian holiday Resurrection of Christ – Easter, sent a congratulation note to the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric, Metropolitan of Skopje, Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia and Iustiniana Prima, H.H. Stefan and to all Orthodox believers, as well as to the President of the Church Representation of the Evangelical-Methodist Church, Emil Zaev, and to the members of the Evangelical-Methodist Church in the country.
“I wish you to spend the holidays in good health, filled with happiness, joy and love. As a holiday of hope, Easter fills the hearts with warmth and the thoughts with optimism and faith. May we all spread love and good thoughts and rejoice in life. May generosity, kindness and sincerity always be with us! As Christianity would be void without Christ’s resurrection, so our lives would be empty without love, compassion, morality, sharing, and gratitude. After more than a year living in a pandemic that threatens health and causes economic devastation, the end of the Golgotha that all mankind is facing is on the horizon. Until the end of the immunization, let us be conscientious and responsible”, reads the congratulation note of President Pendarovski on the occasion of the great Christian holiday Resurrection of Christ – Easter.
