On the occasion of celebrating the national holiday August 2, Ilinden – Republic Day, representatives from the Office of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia laid flowers on the monuments in Skopje, Kruševo and Smilevo.
In Skopje, the Secretary General of the President’s Office, Mile Bosnjakovski, laid flowers in front of the monument of ASNOM in the “Woman-fighter” park, in front of the monument of Nikola Karev near the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia, in front of the monument of Metodija Andonov – Cento in “Macedonia” square ” and in front of the monument “Strength, Glory and Victory” on the Kale fortress.
In Krushevo, a representative from the President’s Office laid flowers on the grave of Nikola Karev, in front of the monumentdedicated to the heroes of the locality “Sliva” and Mechkin Kamen.
In Smilevo, a representative from the President’s Office laid flowers on the mound of Dame Gruev, in front of the monument of the Ilinden fighters of Smilevo and in front of the memorial plaque of the partisan unit “Dame Gruev”.
