President Stevo Pendarovski received today Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, who is visiting the Republic of North Macedonia.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the excellent bilateral relations and the commitment to further strengthening of partnership and promotion of friendship was highlighted.
President Pendarovski thanked for the strong Slovenian support for the Macedonian integration into the European Union. The interlocutors shared opinions and information about the Report of the European Commission and assessed that it is a clear roadmap for the further implementation of domestic reforms.
The meeting also discussed the challenges of the energy and economic crisis, the war in Ukraine, as well as the regional cooperation, the European and Euro-Atlantic perspective of the Western Balkans.
