The Wife of the President, Elizabeta Gjorgievska, addressed the “One Family” event, which was held under her patronage and organized by SOS Children’s Village.
With the event “One Family”, SOS Children’s Village paid tribute to the friends, donors and supporters of this organization.
“Taking care of children at risk and supporting them, through a family model for alternative care for children and implementing programs for social prevention, SOS Children’s Village is a significant link in our society, providing a home and warmth for every child who is part of this family”, the Wife of the President said.
She also welcomed the role of the corporate sector and individuals with whose support SOS Children’s Village has been successfully performing its basic function for many years and is an example in our society.
“I believe that today’s event will be an inspiration and a motive to continue helping, giving and supporting. It does not always have to be financial or material support. It is enough to donate our time, our love, to pay attention and take care of everyone who needs help”, the President’s Wife said, adding that regardless of all the crises, temptations, problems, we must not lose humanity and keep hope and faith, be optimistic and spread positive energy by giving love because we are all part of one family and should be there for each other in good and bad.
In addition to awarding recognition to twenty companies and organizations and twenty individuals for their support, the event also presented the achievements and corporate activities of SOS Children’s Village in the past year, and a show by the “Ballerina” ballet studio was performed.
