Today in Skopje, President Stevo Pendarovski is hosting the meeting of the leaders of the countries participating in the Brdo-Brijuni Process, together with the presidents of the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia, Zoran Milanović and Natasha Pirc Musar.
The focus of today’s talks is the European integration of the countries from the Western Balkans, youth policies and climate change. In that context, the leaders are discussing the course of European integration as a prerequisite for the stability and prosperity of the region, the possibilities for enhanced cooperation and economic development in order to prevent the emigration of young people, as well as the possibilities for mitigating the consequences of climate change as a global challenge, through social, political and regional solidarity.
The purpose of this forum of heads of state in the region is to strengthen the trust between countries by resolving open issues and promoting cooperation, as well as intensifying the dialogue with the European Union.
