President Stevo Pendarovski was welcomed today in Warsaw with state and military honors by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, which marked the start of his two-day official visit to the Republic of Poland.
President Pendarovski held a tete-a-tete meeting with President Duda, at which the sincere friendly relations and fruitful political dialogue between the two countries were confirmed. Topics of the meeting were Macedonian European integration, NATO partnership, the war in Ukraine and its consequences, as well as the global economic and energy crisis.
Within the official visit, it is planned that President Duda will award President Pendarovski with the highest Polish decoration, the Order of the White Eagle, while President Pendarovski will award President Duda with the “September 8” Order.
President Pendarovski will also have a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, and, together with President Duda in the afternoon, he will attend and address a meeting with representatives of the Polish chambers and businesses and Macedonian representatives from the business sector.
