President Stevo Pendarovski attended today the Open Day of the Army which, as part of the activities implemented on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the membership of the Republic of North Macedonia in NATO and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Alliance, was organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia on the military stadium in the City Park in Skopje.
On the Open Day, some of the military equipment, technology and vehicles of the Army were exhibited, including the new JLTV armored vehicles, while the military orchestra played music. Army personnel displayed their mountaineering skills and a demonstration exercise was performed with army dogs.
President Pendarovski said that this is an excellent opportunity for citizens to get to know the latest equipment and vehicles disposed of by our Army.
He congratulated the Army members for their professionalism and expressed support for the continuous equipping and modernization of the armed forces, adding that the readiness and efficiency of the Army is of crucial importance for the security and safety of citizens.
