President Stevo Pendarovski had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Republic of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen.
President Pendarovski strongly condemned last night’s terrorist attack in central Vienna and expressed regret for the lives lost in this violent act. In the conversation, President Pendarovski sent deep condolences to the citizens of Austria, as well as to the families of the victims and the injured.
President Pendarovski expressed readiness for comprehensive cooperation aimed at prevention and eradication of radicalism and terrorism motivated by religious fundamentalism. The two Presidents assessed that last night’s terrorist act in Vienna was an attack on the common values we believe in and on our lifestyle.
