President Stevo Pendarovski received today Gena Teodosievska, Director of the International Cinematographers’ Film Festival “Manaki Brothers”, and Igor Ivanov Izi, President of DFRM and founder of the ICFF “Manaki Brothers”.
At the meeting, President Pendarovski was informed about the ongoing preparations for this year’s 41st edition of the Festival, which, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, instead of the traditional projections, will be realized through digital platforms, and the only event in Bitola will be held on September 19th.
President Pendarovski, expressing regret that this year’s edition of the Festival cannot be realized in its recognizable format, welcomed the efforts to maintain the continuity of the Festival, as one of the most important cultural events in our country, with its realization through alternative forms.
The Manaki Brothers International Cinematographers’ Film Festival is traditionally held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia.
