The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, received today the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlic Radman.
Welcoming the visit of Minister Grlic Radman and assessing that he is coming at an extremely important moment for our country and the region, President Pendarovski thanked for the constant and clear commitment of the Republic of Croatia and the current Croatian Presidency to open the accession negotiations before the Union’s summit in Zagreb in May. President Pendarovski also voiced expectation for the soon-to-be adopted new methodology for conducting accession negotiations.
The meeting exchanged views on the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, which were assessed as friendly and without outstanding issues, and referred to the interest of both parties to promote and intensify bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
The interlocutors also exchanged views and information on the current situation in the region, including the threat of illegal migration.
