President Stevo Pendarovski, as part of his official visit to the Czech Republic, met today in Prague with the President of the Government of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, which in the past three decades have been characterized by extensive cooperation in several areas of mutual interest.
Pointing out the Czech Republic as an important partner in NATO, the UN and the OSCE, President Pendarovski emphasized the commitment of the Macedonian side to further strengthening relations with the Czech Republic, both on bilateral and multilateral level, as well as in the field of economic cooperation.
President Pendarovski thanked the Czech Republic for its continuous and principled support for the accession process of our country to the EU and expressed the expectation that it will continue in the future.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged about the overall situation in the wider region, in the context of the war in Ukraine.
