President Stevo Pendarovski received today representatives of the Macedonian Archaeological Society.
At the meeting, the interlocutors introduced President Pendarovski to their work and activities, also conveying the challenges faced by the archaeological experts and institutions for the protection of cultural heritage and higher education institutions that have study programs in this area. In that direction, they indicated that their goal is professionalism in the protection of cultural heritage and in the domain of archeology as a profession and science.
President Pendarovski said that the work and activities of the archaeologists contribute to the protection of the cultural heritage of our country, stressing that it is necessary to find a solution for their normal and professional functioning without political or any other pressure.
