President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Commander of KFOR, Major General Franco Federici, who is paying a working visit to the Republic of North Macedonia.
In order to effectively address the security challenges in the region, the meeting reaffirmed the readiness to enhance mutual cooperation and exchange of information of mutual interest.
The interlocutors exchanged views on joint activities with KFOR forces and on the activities and engagement of the first army contingent, which was sent last month to the KFOR mission’s main command – “West” in Kosovo.
“As a full member of NATO, we will continue our participation in peacekeeping missions led by NATO, the European Union and the United Nations. Our Army will continue to contribute to global security, peace and stability”, President Pendarovski said at the meeting with the KFOR Commander, Major General Franco Federici.
