The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, signed the Decrees for the proclamation of 21 laws, which were not signed by President Ivanov.
Among the signed are the Decrees for the proclamation of the Law Amending the Law on Operational-Technical Agency, the Law on the Central Population Register, the Law Amending the Law on Financial Support of Investments, the Law Amending the Law on Sports and the Law on Internship.
President Pendarovski believes that these laws and their future implementation are of vital interest for the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The amendments to the Law on Operational-Technical Agency refer to the part of the funding and will contribute to the professionalization of the security services. The establishment of OTA resulted from the Plan for Implementation of the Recommendations of the Group of Experts on the Systemic Rule of Law Issues regarding the monitoring of communications.
By applying the Law on the Central Population Register, a unified and unique way of running individual databases will be determined based on established standards and procedures.
The Law Amending the Law on Financial Support of Investments promotes the economic development of the country. The new Law greatly facilitates the procedures and is also expected to increase the number of companies that can apply and receive state support for business development.
The amendments to the Law on Sports provide for tax exemption for national sports federations, sports clubs, active athletes from Olympic and non-Olympic sports, as well as other legal entities authorized to perform sports activities. This will provide significant means to support sports and athletes.
The Law on Internships will help unemployed
persons and non-employed persons, as well as employers to achieve their goals –
employment of appropriate staff through training during the internship.
President Pendarovski signed the Decrees for proclamation of the following Laws:
– Law Amending the Law on Operational-Technical Agency;
– Law Amending the Law on the One-Stop-Shop System and Keeping Trade Register and Register of other legal entities;
– Law Amending the Law on Electronic Communications;
– Law Amending the Law on Sale and Lease of Business Buildings and Business Premises of the Republic of Macedonia;
– Law Amending the Law on Value Added Tax;
– Law Amending the Law on Road Traffic Safety;
– Law Amending the Law on Free Access to Public Information;
– Law on the Central Population Register;
– Law Amending the Electoral Code;
– Law Amending the Law on Financial Support of Investments;
– Law Amending the Law on Sports;
– Law on Internship;
– Law on Services;
– Law on Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Macedonia and Montenegro on the Regulation of Mutual Property – Legal Relations;
– Law on Execution of Sanctions;
– Law on tobacco, tobacco products and related products;
– Law Amending the Law on Registration of Cash Payments;
– Law Amending the Law on State Awards;
– Law Amending the Law on the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, with the text of the Law;
– Law on Electronic Management and Electronic Services;
– Law Amending the Law on Public Debt.
