President Stevo Pendarovski had brief meetings today, on the sidelines of the World Leadership Summit of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, with the US President, Joe Biden, the Slovak President, Zuzana Chaputova, the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, the Indian Prime Minister, Narenda Modi, the Israeli Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, the British Minister for Europe and Americas Wendy Morton, NATO Secretary-General, Jens Stoltenberg, and the former British Prime Minister, Theresa May.
President Pendarovski attended today the event marking the beginning of the global methane commitment, initiated by the US President, Joseph Biden, and the European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, as well as the leadership event “Action and Solidarity – the Critical Decade”, organized by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson.
