President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, on the occasion of the celebration of the birth of Christ – Christmas, attended the Hierarchical Chrysostom liturgy in the Cathedral “St. Clement of Ohrid” in Skopje, which was headed by the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, His Holiness Stefan.
After the divine liturgy, President Siljanovska-Davkova, in the talks with the believers, addressed the traditional greeting “Christ is Born! Indeed, He is Born!”, sharing festive wishes for peace, joy and prosperity in every home.
“I hope that, as the Archbishop said several times, the star of Bethlehem guides us and that this day will awaken the best in us. May it be eternal!”, President Siljanovska-Davkova said in a statement in front of the Cathedral.
