President Stevo Pendarovski, as part of his working visit to the Republic of Kosovo, had a meeting today in Pristina with the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the level of bilateral relations between the two countries, which are friendly, dynamic and based on mutual respect and understanding.
The talks focused on current topics from bilateral relations, the European perspective of the two countries, the developments regarding the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, as well as regional and multilateral challenges and the security situation in the region and beyond.
President Pendarovski reaffirmed the position of support for Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations, as well as Kosovo’s active approach to existing regional initiatives and forums, emphasizing that our country is ready to share its experiences in relation to reform processes on the way towards the European Union, as well as in relation to membership in the NATO Alliance.
In that context, the interlocutors concluded that the two countries have a significant place with their active role in joint efforts to achieve lasting stability, good neighborliness and economic prosperity in this part of Europe and that the common future in the Euro-Atlantic structures is a stake in further stabilization and prosperity of the Western Balkans region.
Both presidents committed to deepening cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, especially in the field of economy and emphasized their commitment to an active contribution to a developed in infrastructure and economically prosperous region.
