President Stevo Pendarovski received today participants in the Youth and Educational Policy Research Program at the Youth Educational Forum (MOF).
During the meeting, the young people from Albania, Serbia and North Macedonia spoke about the activities and areas in which they direct their capacities, within the framework of the program for regional mobility of young researchers and activists, which the Youth Educational Forum organizes in partnership with the Center for Science and Innovation for Development from Albania and the Youth Initiative for Human Rights from Serbia. The interlocutors informed the President about the implementation of the Program, which takes place in the three countries and covers 5 different topics: regional cooperation, youth participation, brain drain and education, youth unemployment and youth action towards the double transition: digital and green.
In the context of the need to create sustainable youth policies, the President emphasized the contribution of young people, with their critical thinking, as one of the key prerequisites for democratization and positive processes in any society.
During their stay in the Cabinet, the visitors had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the functioning of the institution, the presidential activities and constitutional powers.
Earlier, the visitors saw the premises where working and official meetings of the President, press conferences, events and celebrations take place, as well as the imposing diptych “Macedonia – Bright Country” and “Macedonia – Remembers” by one of the most important contemporary Macedonian artists, Gligor Chemerski.
