President Stevo Pendarovski received today Teodor Bogoevski, a person with a disability and advisor for people with a disability to the President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The meeting discussed the position of people with disabilities in the country, in the context of the efforts to meet their rights to equality, a dignified life and inclusion in the economic, cultural and social life in the Macedonian society.
At the meeting, Teodor Bogoevski, as a person with a disability, which gives him a special insight into the needs of these people, introduced the President to his previous activities, as well as his proposals aimed at greater inclusion of students with disabilities.
President Pendarovski, expressing his support, emphasized that according to his competences, he continuously strives to improve the position of people with disabilities in our country.
The meeting also discussed the book “Political Participation of Persons with Disabilities”, authored by Bogoevski, which will be published at the beginning of next year.
