The Wife of the President, Elizabeta Gjorgievska, today in MladiHub – Office of the President, participated in the preparation of humanitarian packages with food, personal hygiene and household maintenance products intended to support the citizens of the most vulnerable categories affected by the crisis caused by the corona virus pandemic.
The activity is part of “We Volunteer for a Solidarity Society” project which is under the auspices of President Stevo Pendarovski and was implemented together with the association of citizens to help the homeless, socially disadvantaged families and individuals “Kindness”, with the association for humanitarian and social development – Project Happiness with volunteers from partner organizations.
The packages, in cooperation with the associations, will be distributed to families at social risk whose condition is aggravated by the crisis caused by the corona virus pandemic, and some of them will be distributed on the eve of the Ramadan Bajram holiday.
For this humanitarian action, the companies Pekabesko AD, Makprogres, Ramstore, Alkaloid, Vitalia, Tinex and EVN Macedonia provided donations this time.
The Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia calls on other socially responsible companies to get involved with their contribution, in order to help the vulnerable categories of citizens, those who need support the most in these difficult days.
