Dear Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Serbs, Bosniaks, Roma, Vlachs, and all other citizens,
Congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the independence of our common state!
On this day, 30 years ago, the dream of all generations who fought and died for our freedom came true. Macedonian statehood is undoubtedly our greatest common historical achievement. Today, we have the privilege of having our own, independent state. At the same time, we have a great responsibility – to invest in it to be a worthy home for every one of us. The state we will build, we will have it.
Dear fellow citizens,
Our greatest value, for centuries, has been the tradition of respecting diversity. North Macedonia can prosper only if all its citizens feel it as their homeland.
Our better tomorrow also depends on the integrations in the important international organizations. As a small country, in today’s global and turbulent world, we cannot survive without allies and friends. The integration processes were, and still are, both a motive and a means to achieve internal cohesion and to achieve the highest European values.
Dear fellow citizens,
Let us respect and understand each other.
Let us realize that the different from us is not our enemy.
Let us understand politics as a struggle for ideas and concepts for the better today and tomorrow, not as a struggle for life and death.
We do not have a spare state. North Macedonia is our only, common home and will be a decent place to live only if every one of us invests in it his effort, his responsibility and his conscience.
